The Heredity of Cancer
Is Cancer in Your Genes?

Family history is an important risk factor for cancer. Scientists have discovered that inherited factors (genes) play a major role in many cancers. Genetic testing and information may help an individual and his or her physician take special steps to detect cancer early or prevent it all together.

Tuesday, May 1st, 7:00 p.m.
Concord Hospital, Concord, NH

The evening will feature Judy E. Garber, MD, MPH, Director of the Cancer Risk and Prevention Program at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston.

This special evening is brought to you by Concord Hospital, in collaboration with New Hampshire Oncology-Hematology, PA, and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The event begins the launch of Concord Hospital's new genetic counseling clinic.
