COPING WITH CANCER CLINICAL STUDY
HOOKSETT, NH – Physicians at New Hampshire Oncology-Hematology , PA have elected to participate in a new study offered by the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The Coping with Cancer Study is a multi-site study sponsored by the National Cancer Institute and the National Institute of Mental Health. The goal of this study is to determine how patients and their primary caregivers cope with a cancer diagnosis.
Study researchers include Holly Prigerson, Ph.D., Principal Investigator; Director, Center for Psychooncology and Palliative Care Research; Associate Professor of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School; Jennifer Temel, M.D., Thoracic Oncology, Massachusetts General Hospital; Vicki Ann Jackson, M.D., Palliative Care, Massachusetts General Hospital; Lauren Vanderwerker, Ph.D., Instructor, Harvard Medical School; Project Director, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute; and Sue Anderson, B.S., Research Coordinator, Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center.
