Dr. Denis Hammond Named “Top Doc” in Hematology/Oncology Hooksett, NH – For the sixth year that the honor has been given, a physician at New Hampshire Oncology-Hematology , PA , has been named as a New Hampshire Top Doc by New Hampshire Magazine. Dr. Denis Hammond, M.D., is featured as the “Top Doc” in the field of hematology/oncology in April's edition of New Hampshire Magazine. The distinction was the result of 3,419 surveys sent to practicing physicians in the state. This year, the magazine received an 11 percent return rate according to the magazine's Executive Editor, Rick Broussard. The survey asked, “Who would you choose to provide your medical needs?” Hammond, a former recipient of the distinction, was honored to be chosen again by his peers. Dr. Hammond is a founding partner of New Hampshire Oncology-Hematology , PA , which was established 30 years ago. He is a member of the board of directors of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He is also the Medical Director of the Center for Cancer Care at Exeter Hospital . Dr. Hammond sees patients in the greater-Manchester and Exeter areas. New Hampshire Oncology-Hematology PA has five locations in New Hampshire – Hooksett, Concord , Laconia , Exeter , and Derry . The magazine publishes the names of “Top Docs” in 42 specialty medical fields.
