Paying for Medical Care

The complexities and burdens of paying for medical care can be overwhelming. At NHOH, each patient is assigned a Patient Account Representative. It is the job of that individual to help our patients understand the costs associated with care, what their insurance will cover, and what is likely to be the patient’s own personal financial responsibility.

Additionally, our staff is ready to help individuals with inadequate resources apply for other types of financial assistance.

Our fees for all services are in line with other oncology and hematology practices in New England. Our staff will submit insurance claims directly to your insurer. We participate with Medicare, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, CIGNA HealthCare and other area insurers. Our patient account representatives will meet with you at your first visit to discuss our billing and payment policies, as well as the details of your insurance coverage. They are always available at office visits or on the telephone if you have questions regarding your account.
