  • New Hampshire Oncology-Hematology, PA was founded in 1976. Dr. Denis Hammond has been with the practice since 1978.

  • New Hampshire Oncology-Hematology, PA is the largest private provider of medical oncology and hematology services in New Hampshire.

  • The practice has a service area of approximately 400,000 residents in central and southern New Hampshire with five practice locations:
    • 200 Technology Drive, Hooksett
    • 250 Pleasant Street, Concord
    • 44 Birch Street, Derry
    • 80 Highland Street, Laconia
    • 5 Alumni Drive, Exeter

  • Services offered include:
    • Medical oncology
    • Hematology
    • Chemotherapy
    • On-site laboratory
    • 2,500 new patients are seen per year for cancers and diseases of the blood. 65 – 70 patients receive chemotherapy at our Hooksett and Concord locations in any given day.

  • The practice is actively involved in clinical research through a National Cancer Institute cooperative group affiliation.

  • New Hampshire Oncology-Hematology employs nearly 100 people, including physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, oncology-certified nurses, laboratory technicians, patient account representatives and administrative staff. Currently, nine board-certified physicians serve our patients.

  • Offices have been designed to make treatment as comfortable as possible for patients and those who accompany them to appointments.

  • The practice accepts most forms of insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid, and provides free care as needed through a patient assistance program developed and funded by the practice.
