Gastric Cancer

Red color connotes government-sponsored trials.

C80101 - Patients with stomach cancer who are considered to be at moderate to high risk of recurrent cancer after surgery (most patients) are eligible.

Patients are treated with chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Patients are randomly assigned to receive 2 types of chemotherapy:

1-5FU and leucovorin before and after radiation therapy
2-Epirubicin,Cisplatin, and 5FU before and after radiation therapy

All patients receive 5FU during the weeks of radiation therapy.
