Head and Neck Cancers

E1302 – Patients with cancer of the head and neck area who have experienced a recurrence of the cancer after initial surgery or radiation are eligible for this trial. Patients are randomly assigned to treatment with docetaxel, a chemotherapy drug, with or without Gefitinib (Iressa), an oral drug that can starve the cancer cells of growth signals.
