Hodgkins Disease

Red color connotes government-sponsored trials.

CALGB 50303 – Patients with diffuse large cell lymphoma are randomly assigned to standard therapy with CHOP chemotherapy + Rituxan  or  Rituxan + infusional chemotherapy with EPOCH. Infusional EPOCH has shown promise in preliminary studies of patients with this type of lymphoma.

CALGB 50402– Patients requiring therapy for follicular lymphoma who have not received drug therapy for the disease in the past are treated with Rituxan and Galiximab (an experimental antibody directed at lymphoma cells)

C59905 – Patients with advanced Hodgkins (stage 3 or 4) are eligible. Patients will be randomly allocated to receive:

ABVD chemotherapy for 6-8 months
or
Multi-agent weekly chemotherapy for 12 weeks, followed by low-dose, limited radiation therapy.
