Patients with metastatic prostate cancer are randomly allocated
to:
Continuous
therapy with Zoladex plus Casodex
or
Intermittent therapy with Zoladex plus Casodex

Prostate cancer patients recently treated with radical prostatectomy
who are considered at high risk of recurrence are randomly allocated
to receive:
Zoladex
+ Casodex for 2 years
or
Zoladex + Casodex plus 6 cycles of chemotherapy with Mitoxantrone
and Prednisone

Patients with prostate cancer and bone metastasis that have
recently started hormonal therapy or have not begun this therapy
are eligible. Patients are randomly allocated to receive :
Zometa
(potent bone building medicine)
or
Placebo these patients will all be offered Zometa at the
time that the cancer progresses
C90401 Men with advanced prostate cancer who have not received chemotherapy are eligible for this trial. Patients are randomly assigned to chemotherapy (Docetaxel + prednisone) with or without bevacizumab(Avastin), a protein that interferes with blood vessel growth.

Men with biopsy of prostate that demonstrates precancerous
condition (PIN) are eligible. Patients are randomly allocated to
