Meredith Selleck, MD, began practicing at NHOH as a medical oncologist and hematologist in 2003, after completing her fellowship training at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. She earned her medical degree at New York Medical College, and completed her internship and residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr. Selleck practices in the Hooksett and Laconia offices.

"I believe that most patients can be frightened, concerned and confused about their conditions and the course of treatment they face," says Dr. Selleck. "This may be true of their families, as well. I believe I can support patients best by dealing with them honestly and openly, exhibiting patience and concern about being easily available."

In her time away from work, she enjoys photography, cooking, reading, and spending time with her husband, two young sons, and friends.

"I have an adventurous spirit and love to engage in physical activities. I played rugby in college, ran a marathon and backpacked around Europe. I would love to travel to remote places to experience other cultures and ways of life," she says.

"My favorite part of the work I do is interacting with patients and their family members. Whether it is an initial consultation, or follow-up visit, I strive to allay their fears, concerns, or physical discomfort with full diagnoses and treatment."
